Well, that’s another year done. To say it’s been a big one would be an understatement. 44 shooting weekends. Over 7000km of travel. More than 1TB of photos (and that’s after judicious culling). That’s before I get to the numerous firsts, too. First time shooting for Toyota GB. First time shooting for Auto Action and The BMC Experience. First time shooting dirt racing in almost a season and a half. And first time shooting any number of other events and series, like World Superbikes, the Phillip Island 400, VicDrift, the GCC Winter Cup, MotorEx and others. It’s been an incredible year, one that could only have happened with the love and assistance of some very hard working and dedicated people: my girlfriend, Rina, my family, my friends both within and without the automotive sphere, my amazing clients, and of course, the tireless and utterly indispensable volunteers, without whom we know motorsport simply would not happen.
2015 is looking even bigger, and I will let you in on what I’m doing to kick things off after the New Year. It’s all very exciting. Until then, I hope you all have a fantastic and safe New Year’s break, and enjoy this chronological, photographic look at 2014.
